Simple Artist books with Mixed Media Techniques.

This 10 week course will guide you through simple book forms together with mixed media techniques to fill them up.
Learn to use a variety of layered mixed media and experiment with mark making using stencilling, block and mono printing and paper lithography. Explore these processes and fold, cut and stitch your samples into book forms.

Choose either the morning class 10am-1.30pm or the evening class, 6.30-9pm
There are numerous ways to make and print collagraph plates. The 10-week printmaking course will deal with a different aspect of collagraph plate making each term. You will explore the technique in detail the first half of the term, allowing for further personal exploration for the second half.
A variety of inking techniques will be covered, and a few surprises will be thrown in.
This course is suitable for those new to printmaking and artists wanting to extend their practice.
